Graham has been working with young people and motor vehicles for over 26 years and has a recognised reputation for his work in this area. In 1993, Graham piloted and largely developed the UK Youth First Gear pre-learner driver education programme. Launched in 1995, the programme, later known as Momentum, expanded to include motorcycles in 1999 and is now being used throughout the UK.

Graham also developed the acclaimed group game Pole Position, the second edition of which was partly funded by the Scottish Road Safety Campaign. More recently he has co authored the Motor Cycle Industry Association’s LINKs Citizenship Pack, which was launched at the Proud to be Involved conference on the 9th May 2006.

Graham formed RUE in June 2004. One of its aims is to improve communication between all road user/safety education providers and to facilitate partnership working. He is committed to developing quality Road User Education in all types of education settings. He is campaigning for a greater co-ordination of Road Safety initiatives across the UK.

Graham is a member of AIRSO and a STEM Ambassador for Northaptonshire.
